Das Geister Duo spielt Werke von Schubert und Strawinsky
David Salmon and Manuel Vieillard founded the Geister Duo while studying at the Conservatoire à Rayonnements Régional de Paris. The chamber music ensemble won 1st prize and the audience prize at the Monaco International Four Hands Piano Competition in 2019 and 2nd prize at the Schubert Competition for piano duos in the Czech Republic. In 2021, in addition to first prize, they received the Carl Bechstein Special Prize, the BR Classic Online Prize, the Henle Urtext Prize, the special prize “for the most beautiful Reger” and the special prize for the best interpretation of the commissioned composition at the ARD Music Competition.
