“Blood Book” is the debut novel by Kim de l’Horizon, for which she received the German Book Prize and the Swiss Book Prize in 2022. The novel searches for a language that can describe what exists beyond existing categories. A language that attempts to describe the in-between. Kim de l’Horizon calls the resulting writing style “écriture fluide.”
