Art lies somewhere in between

Year-End Exhibition of the Künstlersonderbund at the RealismusGalerie, Berlin-Kreuzberg.

Opening Reception: Saturday, November 14, 2026, 6–9 pm

Between black and white lie countless shades of grey – and between opposites, often the most fascinating stories.

Under the title “Between the Tones”, the Künstlersonderbund in Deutschland invites visitors to its traditional year-end exhibition at the RealismusGalerie in Berlin-Kreuzberg, running from November 14, 2026, to January 30, 2027.

The exhibition presents a diverse and surprising selection of small-format paintings, drawings, prints, and sculptures – all at affordable prices. Art to discover, to give as a gift, and to treasure.

At the heart of the exhibition are the subtle nuances that often reveal more than striking contrasts. In realist art, delicate tonal variations create light, depth, and atmosphere. Yet nuances are far more than an artistic device. Especially in times of growing polarization, they open up spaces between opposing positions, allow different perspectives to coexist, and create connections.

The turn of the year is itself a time of transition – between reflection and new beginnings, farewell and fresh starts.

The exhibition invites visitors to take a closer look. For what is most intriguing often lies not in the obvious, but somewhere in between.

We look forward to welcoming you and invite you to discover 43 inspiring works by 22 artists of the Künstlersonderbund.
