From its very beginning, punk was revolutionary, disruptive, and profoundly feminist. Few other music movements involved so many FLINTA* individuals. This energy gave rise to the New Wave scene, with its impressive diversity of FLINTA* artists and bands that pushed musical boundaries and moved far beyond classic rock clichés.
In this edition of Timeline, Lovegaze and Dry Fruits take the stage. Lovegaze is a Berlin-based band that blends shoegaze and New Wave into a dreamy soundscape. Ethereal vocals meet lush, reverb-drenched soundscapes, creating a unique mix of nostalgic melancholy and modern dream pop. Their music hovers between haze and clarity—emotional, hypnotic, and atmospheric.
Dry Fruits are Berlin's latest dance-punk discovery: bomber jackets, heavy pink eyeliner, and a clear attitude. The trio plays fast, energetic, and danceable songs where funky rhythms meet precisely composed melodies.
