The hymn book of the Huguenots, the French Protestants, was intended to be nothing less than a foretaste of paradise and angelic music. Yet the psalm composers not only created music of otherworldly beauty, but also struck the right note for earthly joys and sorrows of love.

Together, the renowned early music singer Isabel Schicketanz, the Basel-based Renaissance ensemble astrophil & stella and Berlin’s WUNDERKAMMER bring to life music centred on the Geneva Psalter.
