Berlin Art Week 2026

To mark the 15th anniversary of Berlin Art Week, the Kulturforum will serve as the festival’s central hub from September 9 to 13, 2026.

As an open space for interaction, the “Berlin Art Week Garden” brings together institutions, partners, and the public, creating a shared starting point for the citywide festival program.

The festival was founded in 2012 as an alternative to the defunct art forum berlin, uniting the abc – art berlin contemporary and the Preview Berlin Art Fair under one banner. Today, it is a renowned event that combines exhibitions, panel discussions and public art, with the aim of making contemporary art accessible to everyone.

Throughout the week, the festival showcases both Berlin-based and international artists, bringing works to traditional art spaces as well as open-air and public spaces.
