One particularly quiet evening, when not a sound could be heard – no cars, no aeroplanes – and even Grandad Josef had gone out, a terrible noise suddenly thundered through the house. “What was that?” cried the lamp, the alarm clock and the cat in horror. It was the bed, tossing and turning so violently that the whole house shook. It simply couldn’t sleep.
What should they do?
