Concert with works from Feininger, Wagner, Wolpe and Schönberg
The evening concert at St Elisabeth’s Church explores various approaches to the Gesamtkunstwerk – a theme that was also significant at the Bauhaus. Dorothea Röschmann (soprano) and the German Chamber Orchestra Berlin, conducted by Karl-Heinz Steffens, will perform works by Lyonel Feininger, Richard Wagner, Arnold Schönberg and Stefan Wolpe.

Bauhaus Music 2026: Abendkonzert in der St. Elisabeth-Kirche
The programme brings together a diverse range of artists who push the boundaries of artistic thought.
Programme:
- Lyonel Feininger: Fugue in E flat minor for piano
- Richard Wagner: Siegfried Idyll WWV103 for chamber orchestra
- Stefan Wolpe: Concerto for Nine Instruments, Op. 22
- Arnold Schönberg: Second Quartet (F sharp minor) for two violins, viola, cello and soprano, Op. 10 (version for string orchestra)
An introduction to the programme with Kai Hinrich Müller will take place from 6.00 pm to 6.30 pm.
