With their debut album ‘Babymetal’ (2014), they conquered the charts worldwide and landed hits like ‘Gimme Chocolate!!’, ‘Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!’ and ‘Megitsune’. In 2025, BABYMETAL will go on tour in Germany, together with Poppy and the Irish artist Bambie Thug. They will also be stopping in Berlin.

BABYMETAL combine kawaii metal with J-pop and a variety of metal subgenres. Their lavishly produced music videos have so far received over 890 million views on YouTube. Since then, they have been honoured with numerous prestigious awards, including the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Breakthrough Award and several MTV Awards.
Formed in 2010 as a sub-unit of Sakura Gakuin, they made their breakthrough with singles like ‘Ijime, Dame, Zettai’. With their second album ‘Metal Resistance’ (2016) and the third album ‘Metal Galaxy’ (2019), they firmly established themselves on the global music scene. After Yuimetal left in 2018, the group is complete again with Momoko Okazaki (Momometal).
