Impulsive beats, sonorous spheres, brute bass, a constantly changing attitude to life full of secrets and imponderables. All of this moves subtly beneath the surface of her latest album STRIPES. Stripes that run through life, connect invisibly, end abruptly and emerge again. A poetic cross-section of a reality as experienced by three young Berlin musicians. This is ARTWHY.

The young indietronic band ARTWHY hails from the vibrant center of Berlin. They formed in September 2010 and have since released the albums WALL PAINT (2012) and STRIPES (2013) as well as the EP ROBOTIC AUDIENCE (2017).

The band has been able to develop its sound in Berlin's most renowned indie electronic clubs such as White Trash, Magnet and Postbahnhof, as well as nationwide. Honored by the former Federal Minister of Education and Research Anette Schavan, the band took part in the Berlin Festival's Young Music Scene meeting.

ARTWHY will be supported on this evening by FAH OFF, an up-and-coming band from the Pott!
