Arseny Rykov is a pianist and composer living in Berlin. His trio plays original music and has a recognizable style based on the interaction between musicians as well as the dense but informative structures of compositions.
“There are many influences in my music, but there are two styles that have influenced me the most: ECM and classical music, especially impressionists and Russian composers,” explains Arseny.
“I started composing in music school. Over the years, composing and making music have become my main avenue of self-reflection and self-expression. I've always wanted my music to make people's souls and minds work and make them think about what's going on around them. In my view, an artist has a great responsibility to the audience. The responsibility to be sincere, honest and consistent in what you create and say. I want to believe that my music
can unite people. "Especially such multicultural and international music as contemporary jazz".
