Berlin premiere

Annette Kruhl has tried them all: motivational workshops, psychology podcasts, dating coaching, spiritual healing sessions, mindset webinars and the big promises of getting rich quick. She hasn’t even skipped cuddle sessions with lonely city dwellers – the latest trend in the search for support, healing and happiness. After all, in a world that’s gone off the rails, it’s easy to find yourself in the midst of an existential crisis.

Annette set out to find her own path – and wishes she’d just stayed at home. Now she’s completely lost her bearings: whether she’s trying to manifest her dream man through the power of thought, fathom her karmic destiny with the help of a clairvoyant, or emigrate to Austria, where the world still seems to be in order – Annette’s search for fulfilment and joy turns into a bizarre journey through the coaching jungle – always teetering between enlightenment and escalation.

The Berlin cabaret artist has already wowed audiences at the Kulturhaus Spandau with her shows ‘Men Who Stare at Mobile Phones’ and ‘Actually, I Wanted to Be a Film Star’.

In her brand-new solo show, she once again captures the spirit of the times. Captivating songs, incisive lyrics, skilful dance routines and her disarming self-deprecation make this programme a satirical all-round entertainment experience.
