Happy or serious, monochrome or colorful, imaginative or realistic – how do you portray yourself? Children, especially those of kindergarten age, and their adult companions are invited to the day of action on Museum Island and in Haus Bastian.


In workshops you will get creative on the topic of “portrait”. Short tours of museums, a shadow play as well as snacks and drinks make for an exciting program.


Program:

Upside down! Draw and photograph yourself in the camera obscura. Workshop | 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. / entry possible at any time, level 0

High five! Paints portraits and prints them. Workshop | 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. / entry possible at any time, level 1

Eyes, nose, mouth! Creates new faces. Workshop | 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. / entry possible at any time, level 2 Portraits! What makes a portrait? Exhibition discussions lead to the Altes Museum and the Alte Nationalgalerie from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. / Start: every half hour, level 0
