We invite you to the Advent market at the Johannesstift
Join us as we kick off the Advent season and get into the festive spirit amongst the festively decorated grounds surrounding the Stiftskirche, with music, roasted almonds, hot apple punch and mulled wine.

Adventsmarkt 2026
- 11.00 am: Traditional family service in the Stiftskirche. The first candle on the large Wichern Advent wreath will be lit there
- 12.00 pm: The stalls open around the church, on Lindenplatz and in the ballroom.
Arts and crafts, handmade crafts, music groups, a nativity scene, hands-on activities for children, a carousel and a swing boat
- 5.00 pm: Musical vespers
The Advent market ends at around 6.00 pm.
