Live with a band

New Yorker Adam Green is a multi-talented artist: songwriter, filmmaker, visual artist and poet.

Adam Green is a co-founder of the short-lived, style-defining anti-folk band ‘The Moldy Peaches’ (with Kimya Dawson), whose sole album was released by Rough Trade in 2001. Since 2002, he has released eleven solo albums, including the legendary ‘Friends Of Mine’, which has just celebrated its 20th anniversary, the soundtrack for Paul Auster’s stage play ‘Timbuktu’, and a duo album with Binki Shapiro.

He is also active as a visual artist; his paintings and sculptures have been exhibited across America, Asia and Europe, including at the Fondation Beyeler in Basel, Switzerland, in 2016.

He wrote and directed the first feature film to be shot entirely on a mobile phone, ‘The Wrong Ferrari’ (2010).

In recent years, Green has written a number of graphic novels and other books, including the poetry collection ‘Magazine’, which was translated by Thomas Meinecke.
