20 Jahre Radialsystem: 20 Jahre Zukunft

The celebrations kick off with a major concert on September 11, 2026, as part of “20 Years of Radialsystem.” The ensemble will perform works from various creative phases over the past years as well as new pieces, all of which will have one artistic focus above all else: surprise.

For two decades, the Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra, under the direction of Berlin-based composer Daniel Glatzel, has been thrilling its audience with an impressively high level of energy, ingenuity, and artistic madness, as well as a skillful juggling of genres, styles, and references to music history.

The musicians draw on musical elements from a wide variety of cultural contexts—and they do so with a nonchalance that borders on the audacious.

Since its founding in 2006, the ensemble has continually reinvented itself. With over 120 works now composed and arranged specifically for this ensemble, four internationally acclaimed albums, numerous concerts worldwide, and countless projects and collaborations, the AMEO is now celebrating its 20th anniversary with several special programs.
