Clärchens Ballhaus

Latin / Salsa / Tango / Merengue, Swing

For around 100 years, the inn in the beautiful Auguststraße has been an institution in Berlin's centre. Its mirrored walls tell stories of broken hearts, exuberant parties, delicious food and hard-working women from the rubble. Even today the Berlin bear is still dancing here: different sounds can be heard every evening, from salsa, Argentinian tango and swing to cha cha and waltz.

Sing In Summer!

Yes Choir is Berlin’s most epic singing experience. Join 200 voices to learn a song in three-part harmony—no experience or commitment needed. It’s 50% choir, 50% party, all in one of Berlin’s iconic ballrooms. Just turn up, sing, and have fun!

Dining takes place in the centre of the dance hall. In addition to rustic German cuisine, the menu includes delicious wood-fired pizzas and fresh cake from the in-house bakery.

2024 Clärchens Ballhaus reopening! Home-made food, fresh from the wood-fired oven, is now available again. The cosy beer garden invites you to linger and forget the time.
