Historical Sounds during Advent
In one of the last remaining old Berlin townhouses, songs are played on the Lyra piano to get you in the festive spirit. Hardly any other time of year is so closely associated with music as Christmas. That’s why the festively decorated Knoblauchhaus takes you on a musical journey during Advent.
Enjoy Christmas music in a historic setting, played by pianist Grit Schulze on a 200-year-old Lyra piano.
Before and after the concert, you can explore the museum as a festively decorated Biedermeier-era Christmas house. Lovingly decorated rooms and original objects from that era invite you on an exciting journey of discovery to the origins of today’s Christmas traditions.
