Workshop with Luis Enrique Mendivil Castañeda
In this workshop, you’ll experiment with 3D printing using edible materials. You’ll be given a brief introduction to the basics of 3D printing and will make a printing paste from maize flour.
You will then develop your own shapes and designs and print them using your maize flour paste on the 3D printer. What makes this special is that the printed results can be eaten at the end of the workshop, accompanied by suitable dips.
Luis Enrique Mendivil Castañeda is a student at the Weißensee Academy of Art, Berlin, and takes a critical look at the food system. In his work, he uses existing technical processes to develop innovative edible experiences and bespoke tableware.
