Out of the ordinary, the metal plates themselves take the center stage in The Noise of the Sun as their own autonomous artistic objects. Only a small, limited number of prints will accompany the series as a portfolio. The works turn their attention to the traces left by human activity in landscapes – to subtle shifts as well as profound transformations. These observations give rise to a multifaceted image of contemporary landscapes, evoking the complex relationship between human beings and nature. Here, a sense of beauty and a sense of loss exist side by side.
