Workshops for the special exhibition "Rename?! Berlin's Street Names and Their History"

How do streets get their names—and who is honored on street signs? During summer vacation, the Mitte Museum is hosting a hands-on program open to the public on three dates.

Inspired by the stories behind Berlin’s street names, participants can create their own little works of art: imaginative cork figures modeled after Berlin’s Street Yogis can be made from corks, and individual street signs can be sculpted from salt dough and painted in bright colors.

  • Recommended for children ages 6 to 12.
  • Admission is free; no registration is required.
