A Wild Women's Circus

The Barbarian Barbies combine acrobatics, dance, and theater with delightfully shocking silliness. With their love of slipping into a wide variety of characters, they tackle notions of femininity with verve and vigor, poking fun at clichés in a blunt yet touchingly playful way.

Just imagine the five superheroines as a mix of Berlin underground cabaret and the Vegas Spice Girls.

The Barbaren Barbies, hailing from Germany, New Zealand, Canada, and Finland, are an international circus collective based in Berlin. They have been touring Germany and beyond since March 2022, and performed to great acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland in August 2024.
