The detective Jonathan bursts into the middle of the turbulent circus performance! A thief is among the spectators! It was and is stolen. The clumsy investigator sets out on an adventurous search and uses the children's observations to determine a precise perpetrator profile. Along the way, he becomes a celebrated circus hero himself.

At the end, the case takes an unexpected turn and the children expose the thief. In this piece, Coq Au Vin talks about the fundamental act of theft with a great sense of humor and casually shows inspiring artistry. The children are constantly involved in the action and they quickly recognize when someone is doing injustice.
