Andraschko Kaffeemanufaktur

Where coffee is a way of life.

For more than twenty years, the roasts from Andraschko Kaffeemanufaktur have been shaking up the coffee scene in the capital. Craftsmanship and innovation are top priorities at Andraschko in Tempelhof-Schöneberg.

Inspired by the Viennese coffee house culture of their Austrian homeland, Elisabeth and Willy Andraschko set themselves the task of bringing really good coffee beans to the German capital in the 1990s. Their roastery, which focuses exclusively on speciality coffee, now produces 20 tonnes of coffee per month for numerous different blends and single-origin coffees. The origin of each bean can be traced exactly at the Andraschkos. During the roasting process, the maximum flavour potential is teased out of every single one. The two founders have spent years travelling the world and seeking out the best coffee varieties. They remain in personal contact with farmers from South India, Ethiopia, Brazil and Sumatra. This is because the Andraschkos measure their products in terms of quality, sustainability and fair working conditions.

The coffee is roasted in Tempelhof-Schöneberg and can be enjoyed in cafés throughout Berlin. They also have their own online shop with a subscription model. And for those who don't quite understand the hype surrounding coffee, the Andraschkos also sell tea.
