49h ICC Berlin

‘Open House’ at the ICC: Discover the biggest lost place in Berlin

Gigantic former congress centre ICC opens its doors again

All Berliners know it: the 320-metre-long silver-grey "spaceship" with the famous aluminium façade. In the 1970s, it landed in the west of the capital, became world-famous with its high-tech architecture and advanced to become the largest conference centre in Europe.

Experience "Open House" on 13 and 14 September at the ICC Berlin

  • Explore halls, foyers and design details of the building in its original state!
  • Free time slot tickets for all from July on visitBerlin.de

Other times closed - open to you on Open Monument Day:

  • 49h ICC: On 13 and 14 September 2025, all Berliners, guests and architecture and design fans are invited to visit the disused congress centre. September 2025, all Berliners, guests of the city and all architecture and design fans are invited to rediscover the disused ICC congress centre as an open house.
  • This year, there will also be guided tours and exhibitions. In addition, other rooms will be opened that were not accessible in 2023 - including Hall 2, the second largest event hall in the ICC.
  • The design conference Form/Future will put the spotlight on Berlin as a UNESCO City of Design and bring the ICC to life for trade visitors on 11 and 12 September.

Whether you immerse yourself in the hidden interiors of industrial culture or take a bike tour of the history of the underground railway: You are invited to more than 300 events across the city.

The opening of the ICC Berlin under the motto "49h ICC" on the occasion of the Open Monument Day is a project of visitBerlin, made possible by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, organised in cooperation with the Landesdenkmalamt Berlin and the Messe Berlin.
