Temporary Ice Rink on Alexanderplatz

Go skating in between Christmas shopping and sight-seeing

Both children and their parents will be delighted by the ice rink on Alexanderplatz. If you need some fresh air, a bit of variety, and some exercise after a shopping spree in the Galeria Kaufhof department store or the Alexa shopping centre, why not head to the temporary ice rink at the Neptunbrunnen (Neptune Fountain)? Here, you can slide over the ice on your own or on borrowed skates, right in the heart of the Christmas market.

Hot drinks on cold days

Parents who don't want to join in the fun on the ice can keep an eye on their little ones from the snack or mulled wine stands. These stands often also offer child-friendly non-alcoholic hot drinks, such as hot apple juice or spiced teas. Other than that, you can also refuel on bratwurst sausages or glazed almonds. Apart from food, there are also stands selling toys, clothing, and wood and wool products. Many of the products are made by the stall keepers themselves.
