Beach bar - Mitte

Beach chairs under palm trees with a fantastic view of the Spree

The scent of summer is in the air, the water of the Spree glistens in the evening light and soft rhythms entice you to dance – in the heart of Berlin, surrounded by history, big-city bustle and a breeze of lightness.

Between the venerable façades of Museum Island and the lively hustle and bustle of Hackescher Markt, an oasis opens up that combines Berlin casualness and Mediterranean lifestyle.

Here you can expect white sun loungers under palm trees, fine sand between your toes and a relaxed atmosphere that turns every visit into a mini holiday. In the evening, the bar is transformed into an atmospheric open-air dance floor: salsa, tango or swing - whether spontaneous or planned, joining in is expressly encouraged. The Strandbar-Mitte offers regulars and casual visitors a holiday atmosphere with the unique backdrop of Berlin and a place to relax, dance and celebrate life.

Originally a bold concept, it is now a cult location with a history - authentic, uncomplicated and run with heart.beach feeling in the middle of Berlin's hustle and bustle can be experienced in the Strandbar-Mitte. With a view of the magnificent Museum Island and directly on the Spree, sun loungers invite you to linger in the sun.
