GREASE – THE MUSICAL

Featuring German-language dialogue and the original English hits, this classic musical – directed by Gordon Gesatzki and with breathtaking choreography by Eline Vroon – becomes a rousing live experience full of passion, romance, energy and the spirit of rock ’n’ roll.

From 7 December 2027, Sandy and Danny’s timeless summer romance, featuring unforgettable hits such as ‘You’re The One That I Want’, ‘Grease Is The Word’, ‘Summer Nights’ and the touching ‘Hopelessly Devoted’, will embark on a major tour of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In Berlin, from 7 to 19 December 2027, it’s all about slicking back your hair, partying together – or simply letting yourself be swept away!

The magic of the original in a new light

This nostalgic yet contemporary interpretation of GREASE – THE MUSICAL remains true to the unique charm and musical magic of the original, allowing the unmistakable spirit and the electrifying rock ’n’ roll and doo-wop sound of the 1950s to shine in a new light.

The colourful, imaginative set design and state-of-the-art lighting and video technology catapult the audience straight back to an era of colourful petticoats and cool leather jackets, fast cars and wild parties.

Ralf Kokemüller, CEO and producer (Limelight Live Entertainment), is convinced that the German-language revival will captivate audiences:

“GREASE is a magnificent musical that has been delighting audiences for generations. The story is being brought to the stage with fresh vigour and new energy. Above all, however, we want one thing: to entertain our audience to the full – with the unmistakable sound, strong characters and that ultimate GREASE feeling. For me, GREASE is a feel-good musical that is simply a joy to watch.”
