Rock’n’Roll, R’n’B & Garage „pur“
As a duo, The Shallaras unleash the energy of an entire band, blending the raw sound of 1950s and 1960s rock ’n’ roll, rhythm & blues and garage with plenty of movement and a love of dancing.

Their live shows are powerful, immediate and intimate – characterised by driving rhythms and pure joy of playing.
The Shallaras were formed in 2023 by the Australian singer Angela Cory and the Italian guitarist Mauro Pandolfino.
A native of Sydney, Angela Cory gained her first musical experience in the Australian punk scene before going on to lead various rockabilly and R&B bands. After five years touring China with DJ DSK, she moved to Berlin and became part of the local blues scene. There, she collaborated with musicians such as Jan Hirte, Micha Maass and Roger Wade, amongst others.
Mauro Pandolfino, a guitarist and composer originally from Rome, draws on a range of musical styles including rock ’n’ roll, blues, jazz, punk and electronic music. Over the course of his career, he has worked with artists such as Dave Stewart, Saint Lu, Jesper Munk and the Soul Thrivers. He is also active in the African music scene and has collaborated with Batila, Afrikadelle and Carlos Dalelane.
