Drawing on the art talk show TALK 2000, which Christoph Schlingensief ran in 1997 in the Volksbühne canteen, Autumn Knight is presenting a new episode of SANITY TV at the Gropius Bau. In this serialised format, the American performance icon and artist appears as the talk show host. Drawing on the dynamics of those present, she uses improvisation to develop a humorous and discursive conversational format.

The proceedings are broadcast in real time onto a screen, creating a continuous interplay between performance, observation and media transmission. This interweaving ties in with central aspects of Schlingensief’s practice.
