Jol Rose

The British singer-songwriter is returning to Germany this autumn. His annual German tour has long since become a tradition: 2026 will mark his sixth tour of Germany. Under the banner ‘For Tomorrow’, he’ll be travelling across Germany from 31 October to 29 November.

Jol will be bringing his show to the Kilkenny Irish Pub in Berlin-Mitte on 8 November. The show starts at 8 pm – entry is free.

Musically, Jol Rose sits somewhere between Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and The Clash, though his sound also features plenty of punk, ska and blues. His own songs take a close look at life and the world, occasionally touch on politics, and tell stories of love and loss – whilst consistently striking a balance between seriousness and humour.

The British artist has plenty of new songs in his repertoire for this tour. These include tracks from his album *Wood Songs*, released in November and recorded live in a Welsh forest, as well as songs from his forthcoming album *For Tomorrow*, after which this year’s tour is named. Anyone who has already seen Jol Rose live knows that this is no traditional singer-songwriter show where the audience sits as quiet as a mouse, waiting for the next chord. His concerts are loud, quiet, funny, thought-provoking and, above all, interactive.

The result is an evening that is both entertaining and thought-provoking: music to sing along to, stories to make you smile and, sometimes, a few thoughts to take home with you.

Whether in a pub or a concert hall – Jol Rose brings his songs straight to the audience and turns every concert into a shared evening. Anyone in the mood for handmade music, British humour and a good dose of Americana shouldn’t miss this tour.
