loosely based on Anton Chekhov, by Valentina Werner
“What on earth am I supposed to find here now?” asks Kostja as he returns to the flat of his late Aunt Olga. The walls are bare, the furniture has been sold off, and the carpet is rolled up. The few possessions left behind by his aunt paint a whole new picture for him.
‘Aunt Olga’ is a tragicomedy for a single actor. It revolves around family, memories and the question of whether one really wants to know who one is or where one comes from.
