“One man, six steel strings, and not for a single moment does one get the feeling that anything is missing.” The critic is right – one really cannot expect more from music than what the Cologne-based guitarist Markus Segschneider offers in such abundance as a soloist: beautiful melodies, harmonies that are both gentle and yet captivating, an incredible richness of sound, a tone of almost classical beauty on steel strings, sparkling runs at the speed of well-oiled lightning, a rich groove, perfect timing.
