A sorceress, Mrs Gotel, tells the story of Rapunzel, the girl she locked away in a tower to protect her from the world. Every time Gotel calls out, ‘Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair’, Rapunzel lets down her beautiful long hair, and the sorceress climbs up to her and cooks for her.
