The world premiere, staged for the first time in the unique setting of the planetarium auditorium, is a 360° concert experience featuring stunning fulldome projections with 3D sound.On 8 December 2026, the Berlin-based duo AFAR will be performing beneath the twinkling stars of the planetarium sky. Psychedelic Krautwave, enveloped in the warmth of analogue synthesisers, raw guitar outbursts and a machine-driven pulsating beat – all carried by a hypnotic voice.
With their sound, the Berlin-based duo AFAR navigate a space between grunge, trip-hop and electronic-techno soundscapes. Their concerts are always a journey, characterised by a magnetic stage presence and a performance that feels both intimate and overwhelming.
With *Changing Rules*, their third studio album, AFAR present a sonically powerful manifesto for the present, new beginnings and resistance. A romantic revolt against the arbitrariness of the digital age – created for people who still see longing as a source of strength and seek the authentic within the artificial.
