At the centre of the story is Momo, the first humanised egg.
He is at the mercy of his oppressors and realises that, although eggs and humans live peacefully side by side, the rights of eggs are severely restricted. There is neither a certificate from the mother hen nor official registration. But then a group of radical egg activists pulls Momo right into their hard-boiled midst. The Egg Rights Movement is at boiling point.
With effervescent queer desire and spiced with influences from the Far East, Ko unleashes a sexually charged attack on the political right. Momo’s story tells of an emotional class struggle between good intentions and dirty power dynamics. On his quest, he not only finds himself, but also stumbles upon realms of unimagined queer science.
- This musical theatre production combines 3D animation, humorous storytelling and live music. Immerse yourself in the fluid biology of these marginalised eggs.
