Creative space for families with children aged 0–6

Come along to Children’s Wednesday at the KW. This creative space is designed for families with children aged 0 to 6 and offers a fun and inspiring environment in which to discover art together. Pop in and enjoy a welcoming space full of pens, paper, sticks, string and much more.

In the education room, children are invited to explore the little world of vintage toys. The activity is inspired by Abstract House #10 by KOO JEONG A.

The artwork consists of hundreds of play elements and is currently on display at KW. Whilst parents may recognise some of the toys, children can discover what these toys looked and felt like a few years ago.

Another playful activity is inspired by the paintings in Susan Hiller’s exhibition: children can draw on rolls of wallpaper, transforming familiar patterns into new shapes and forms.

No prior booking is required – simply sign in at the ticket desk and enjoy the creative atmosphere of the education room with other families!
