Once again, we’re taking a cabaret-style look back at the year. And there’s no shortage of topics: the Winter Olympics, the Football World Cup, Trump yet again, and what feels like more state elections in Germany than there are federal states.

But the Distel Ensemble – featuring Katharina Martin, Jens Neutag and Axel Pätz – manages the seemingly impossible: they pack all the political twists and turns and the madness of everyday life into a fast-paced cabaret show lasting 2 x 50 minutes.
‘Gut im Abgang’ is entertaining, musical and, when necessary, outspoken. This year in review is definitely better than the year itself!
