LOWLADDER is a queer German rapper from Potsdam whose songs combine a summery sound with depressingly honest lyrics. LOWLADDER’s lyrics tackle homophobia, sexism and fears about the future in times of a shift to the right and climate change – whilst the beats transport you to spring. The perfect mix to dance your way out of a life crisis!

Closed Captions is an alternative/indie rock power trio from Berlin who have been together since 2025. Their songs combine heartfelt storytelling with vivid, often surreal imagery. Old fears and recurring questions take the form of lost action figures, acrobats performing somersaults, masked birds and apparitions. Founded by Stephan Bernardes (guitar/vocals) and Jakob Eisele (drums/vocals), who met at film school, the band was joined in 2025 by their third member, Raphael Börger (bass/vocals). With jazz chords, distorted guitars and vocal harmonies, their music feels both fresh and nostalgic – even if no one can say exactly which era it comes from. The result might simply feel as though it’s your favourite band that you’ve never heard of.
