rbb24 Inforadio Forum
Harald Asel (rbb24 Inforadio) discusses the approach to industrial heritage with:
- Petra Kahlfeldt (former Director of Senate Building Affairs, from 1 October 2026)
- Sebastian Blecke (Managing Director of GSG Berlin)
- Sarah Polzer-Storek (owner of Rofinpark Eberswalde)
- Joseph Hoppe (Director of the Berlin Centre for Industrial Heritage)
You can attend the live event ‘Lost Places or Creative Hotspots?’ at the AEG site and ask questions yourself. The discussion will be recorded and broadcast as a programme lasting just under an hour on Sunday, 4 October at 11 am and 9 pm as part of the ‘Forum’ series on rbb24 Inforadio.
The venue is the former AEG site at Humboldthain – which was a veritable factory town around 1900. Today, it is home to a start-up centre, media companies and the Technical University of Berlin. The site is owned by GSG Berlin.
This event is part of the Berlin Industrial Heritage Festival.
Additional information
The Berlin Industrial Heritage Festival offers you the chance to experience the city in a whole new way. From 12 September to 4 October, around 100 events will bring the visible and invisible heritage of industrialisation to life.
