The Christmas pub quiz
Do you wonder what’ll be under the tree at this year’s Christmas quiz at the Futurium? Probably everything again – except exactly what you’d expect. No matter how well-behaved you’ve been all year long, quiz masters Tom and Darren won’t be taking any notice of wish lists or Christmas traditions. From a party in front of the telly to holidays on Mars to a winter ascent of Nanga Parbat, anything and everything could happen once again. There’s no shortage of off-the-wall topics, awkward transitions and surprising questions this time round either.

However, you won’t be given a single thing for free. Neither by the quiz hosts nor by the revellers at the neighbouring tables. Quite the opposite, in fact. Here, you’ll have to work hard to earn your prizes by giving reasonably correct answers to reasonably coherent questions. What’ll help you is a solid grounding in general knowledge, a good gut feeling when taking a wild guess, and, of course, the combined collective intelligence of your team.
Because at least that much is true of the Christmas quiz at Futurium, just as it is at any Christmas celebration: the most important thing is the lovely people you’re celebrating with. So find yourself a few nice teammates and then head straight over to the quiz at Futurium.
