During this event, you can discover just how good it feels to follow Mevlana’s call: after the warm-up, we’ll sing simple, moving songs from various religions, sharing our voices and joy together. There’s no need for lyrics or sheet music, and nobody needs to be able to sing. All you need to do is be there and join in.

Singing together has a grounding and relaxing quality. It feels different for everyone. Encounters, a sense of community and inspiration arise in a light-hearted and joyful way. Let yourself be surprised by what makes this afternoon so special.

Workshop leader Cornelia Dette is a coach specialising in music, singing and interfaith dialogue.

“Come, come, whoever you are! Come, even if you have broken your promises a thousand times! Come, come, whether you are Jewish, Christian or Muslim. Come!”
