Political. Epic. Improvised.

What’s on your mind at the moment? World politics? Climate change? Or a personal issue? Share your thoughts and see how your suggestions are turned into a play.

You don’t tell a story where a hero comes to save the world. Instead, you observe how the characters behave when faced with major challenges: Who runs away from the bear? Who stands their ground and fights? Who suddenly starts praying; who kills it and sells its pelt? At the same time, you playfully explore the scenario and where the characters’ decisions might lead.

That’s epic!

In the spirit of Brecht and the concept of epic theatre, they draw attention to the connections between the individual and society, the personal and the political, prevailing conditions and a better tomorrow – to change through critical reflection. Of course, they don’t skimp on top-class entertainment in the process. ‘Through the Wall’ appeals to the intellect without sacrificing enjoyment.

Sophisticated, entertaining – and highly topical

Classical theatre envelops you in dreams and illusions. Improvisational theatre makes you smile, makes you laugh. Epic theatre opens your eyes, encouraging and entertaining you at the same time. Through interwoven improvised stories, they create a world centred on your chosen theme and interrupt the action on stage, stepping out of character and breaking through the so-called fourth wall to reflect alongside you – sharing our very own experiences, associations or encounters as performers.

Back then or today? Authentic or staged? Always both! And above all: improvised with style.
