What’s important about the body? Why do girls have a vagina? Why do boys have little sacs behind their penis? Why do people kiss? Is it embarrassing to see someone else’s penis or vagina?

All these questions are incredibly fascinating for children – and not always easy for many adults to answer.

With her production, Göksen Güntel shows that you can overcome all sorts of hurdles with a smile. Together with her musical director, Carsten Klatte, she takes the idea even further, transforming the sensitive topic of sex education into a joyful journey of discovery with universal significance. For her, exploring one’s own body wonderfully illustrates that, beyond all religious, ethnic or political barriers, all people are equal.
