Zeiss-Großplanetarium
The planetarium is part of a long tradition: it is the modern embodiment of a long line of places and inventions that have served to further humanity’s exploration of the starry sky and the cosmos around us.
With immersive real-image footage, breathtaking star projections and 360° animations, the Fulldome programme traces the evolution of humanity’s conception of the heavens over millennia.
‘Our Celestial History’ is narrated by the renowned speaker Hans Peter Bögel. The immersive sound is the work of Leipzig-based 3D audio artist Felix Deufel, who has designed the programme as an immersive surround-sound experience.
