A good mood shouldn’t be left to chance, so it’s high time for cutting-edge cabaret that pushes the boundaries of taste and decency. Since 1906, the Ruwe/Valenske comedy duo have been synonymous with brilliant satirical interludes in Berlin’s most beautiful district.

Once again, they’ve brought along a few outrageous bits to stand up to the world’s madness, because: satire must finally become more absurd than reality once more.
As the newly formed Köpenick cabaret group ‘Kombinat’, Henning Ruwe and Martin Valenske invite you on an absurd journey. Be there when the ‘Traumschiff’, captained by Silbereisen, calls for a shore leave on the Crimean Peninsula, when a joint venture is duly registered for cannabis cultivation, or when Berlin’s bureaucracy is once again given a good thrashing. After all, what could be better than taking the bread out from under the civil servants’ butter once again?
These two humorous charlatans, familiar from Berlin’s DISTEL, are already stalwarts of the Altstadttheater despite their young age and promise plenty of subtle mischief and coarse Mettwurst. Or put another way: a double bill of cabaret simply works better, because a captain rarely comes alone.
