An affair with fatal consequences
Minister of State Richard Willey actually has plans quite different from sitting in Parliament: he is secretly meeting the opposition’s secretary in a suite at a luxury hotel. But the romantic tête-à-tête takes an unexpected turn when a dead body suddenly turns up in the room.

Now it is up to his loyal secretary, George, to save the day. No easy task, as more and more uninvited guests turn up: a jealous husband, a money-grubbing waiter, a resolute nurse, the order-loving hotel manager – and, of all people, the minister’s own wife.
Whilst excuses, mix-ups and lies take on increasingly absurd proportions, the supposed corpse also suddenly shows astonishing signs of coming back to life.
Ray Cooney’s *Out of Control* is a fast-paced crime comedy full of black humour, ludicrous twists and situations that truly live up to its title.
