Jeewi Lee works with site-specific installations, sculptures, series of images and interventions. In her works, she often uses simple, seemingly worthless materials and artefacts in which time, memory and transience have left their mark.
These traces form the starting point for her artistic research. In her work, scientific material analysis merges with aspects of Taoist philosophy and personal mythology to create poetic, meditative visual worlds. Winner of the 2026 GASAG Art Prize, she is creating a site-specific presentation especially for the Berlinische Galerie.
The exhibition is taking place as part of Berlin Art Week 2026.
