Imagine that your inheritance no longer belongs to you. A reform obliges all heirs to hand over their inheritance to the Jobcentre — which then raffles it off. Ownership is no longer determined by one’s background, but by chance.

Four characters find themselves at odds here. Gabor and Armin run the system from the safety of the counter. Maude has been stuck in the job centre’s machinery for years. And Silke is fighting — she wants to reclaim what her father left her, at any cost.
