In the print workshop, letters are transformed into building materials. Starting with the array of letters in front of the Berlinische Galerie, you’ll experiment with printing techniques and discover that every character can be so much more than just a component of language. Through printing, we’ll playfully explore form, rhythm, repetition and structure. Letters become building blocks for images and open up unfamiliar perspectives on writing, architecture and design.
A workshop for anyone who, for once, wants to build, print and reinvent language rather than simply read it.
